Luisa Del Giudice has produced many innovative public events and multimedia festivals on Italian and Mediterranean regional cultures in Los Angeles, California and abroad. Her programs are typically wide-ranging, boundary-crossing, and appreciated by specialist and general audiences alike. From 2000 to 2007 her public programs were organized under the IOHI – Italian Oral History Institute’s name, which she founded and directed, and which enjoyed local, national and international recognition. Conferences and multimedia festivals were produced in partnerships with leading cultural and educational institutions. A major project of the IOHI was the community-based research project on Italian resources in Los Angeles, now a website.
